Hi Bob. I checked John's CD and he does sing "haunted" in the last chorus on the CD, same as when he performs it. It makes more sense to me that way, anyway - adds the appropriate atmosphere to the end of the song. We were singing along with it not much more than a week ago at Jamberoo. He has been singing it this way for as long as I have been listening to him (about 10 years) although I notice that it is not that way in my book "My Shout Again", which was published in 1989. It looks like somewhere in those intervening years, he has changed it slightly, and for the better IMO.
