Will I dream of your kiss, at night, when moon
Is full and all desire is free to seek
For passion? Is your shadow dancing tune
I'll chase upon the wind, to my dreams speak?
Shall sonnets play, as waltzes, and dance round
My moon-lit dryad? Will the stars, in dream,
Weave lace of light about you? Have I found
One that will hope of happiness redeem?
Can I keep my desire away? How soon
Might heart reach to you? Shall I try to meet
Future within dream, or am I buffoon
To chase after your smile to dreams complete?
To lose all past and future, and just live
For present: That would reason to dream give.
