I'll stand corrected on Jack Radcliffe, as the correction makes more sense. I didn't record it, BTW, I learned it from a friend who told me it was formerly sung in New England. But it was definitely called "Jack Radcliffe", although there is no mention of his name in the song itself unless I am missing verses which is entirely possible.
