Our menagerie includes two rather large dogs, four lazy cats and one ferret (Mabel the Fearless) who rules the roost. All were acquired from various pounds, humane societies or rescue shelters.

Since none of the local churches saw fit to offer a formal blessing, I did my own from a pagan text that I have been studying . . . short on ceremony but long on sincerity.
