It's too bad we haven't yet come up with a another totally different verse for the whole song. It seems what we're calling the second verse is actually the second part of the first verse. So the song as it stands only has one verse, no matter what the words are. It's such a great song-- has that 20's feel to it. don't you think?--could definitely use at least another verse.
