"but my "no thumping" advice "

Oh ya.. I'm not talking about corpral punnishment... there's no POINT in whacking yer cat or dog when they are bad.. they're not smart enough to put it together... The 'thumping' I'm taking about is as was mentioned above... one of my cats LOVES being open-hand 'thumped' when she's laying sprawled out on her side... and I mean -hard-!
