I'm glad I don't live in a "battleground state." The two parties are concentrating their advertising dollars in the relatively small number of states whose electoral votes are up for grabs.

Folks in Pennsylvania, Ohio, and Florida will be subjected to an absolute barrage of political advertising from now until Election Day. Residents of about 8-10 other smaller states where the outcome remains in doubt will also suffer *almost* as much televised noise pollution.

On the other hand, I regret that my state is not considered a "battleground," because its electoral votes have already been conceded to one of the candidates -- and it's the one I most emphatically do NOT support! Well, maybe those of us in the spposed minority can pull off an upset and prove the experts wrong.
