Thread Name: Origins/ADD: The Swapping Song
Subject: RE: Lyr Add: The Swapping Song
Not a 'Swapper' but use of waddle in an old rhyme:

Old Mother Widdle Waddle jumpt out of bed,
And out of the casement she popt her head,
Crying, the house is on fire, the grey goose is dead,
And the fox he is come to town Oh!
