I think it may have been Pete Murray in his Radio Luxembourg days that introduced me to this song. He played it night after night for a few weeks (Italian version)and then suddenly stopped.
When someone asked why, he explained that a technician who spoke Italian had translated it for him, his comment was 'I thought they only wrote words like that on walls!'
