Poor Jimmy Carter was under a veritable curse during his presidency. Imagine getting attacked in a canoe by a rabbit of all things! It doesn't look good in a society brought up on juvenile macho fantasies like Dirty Harry and the Terminator. Now, if he'd been attacked by an alligator or a bear or something, that would have looked good. I still wonder how much the Republican party paid that rabbit. :-) The Democrats should hire a guinea pig to go after George Bush.
