Part of the reason that I turned off toward the whole Beatles phenomenon is the mindset that accompanied it. For instance, I was a big Elvis fan- sang all his songs, collected his records- but I never went to see him in concert even though he came to Portland Oregon several times. There was no way I was going to be part of that screaming, fainting, frantic audience.
