Chuck in my Car

I was drivin' in my automobile last night
Turnin' up my radio to rock 'n roll loud
You know the way it is sometimes when you stop at a red light
And some dude wants to burn you up
Now, I don't usually bother with guys like this
But when he sneered at me I couldn't resist
Sayin' "OK, pal, let 'er rip
I've got Chuck in my car"

Well, he got away first in a cloud of burning rubber
But he crashed his gears, so I took him in third
I knew that I could hold him 'cause the road was real narrow
So I turned up the music and flew like a bird
I flashed by a sign by the side of the road
That said "Dangerous bend, go slow"
But all I could hear was the sound of my motor
And Chuck saying "Go, go, go!"

As I came around the bend he was right on my tail
So I decided to do something rash
I flashed him a victory sign and took a sharp left
And all I recall was the crash
And a cop standing there with a torch in my face
By now Chuck was in no particular place
But I ended up as a hospital case
With Chuck in my car
