With eyes that offer heart more than the stars,
And smile to heal my soul, you give me source
For hope, and dreams. The thought of you lends bars
To keep out dark and fears, with caring's force.
I read your words, and find they resonate
With my own thoughts. I find in you far more
Than my words show: How can I not dreams state?
You are muse, friend, and one that hopes restore.
I seek to know all of you: Heart, soul, mind.
I try to learn what brings you joy, and all
That I might do to earn your smile. Dreams bind
All my desires to heart, that for hopes call.
You hold the future: Should I think of past,
That I have had slight chance to make dreams last?
