Why lose an election when you can just fix it?

Besides, a vote for either one of those parties is a vote for the $y$tem, regardless. If the Republicans discredit themselves totally (which I figure they will in the next 4 years), then the Democrats will get elected and then THEY will betray the public just like the Republicans did. And so it goes...until the public wakes up and stops playing the fool in the "divide and conquer" game.

This $y$tem is as phony as choosing the next Roman Emperor/Despot. Just that phony. It's an oligarchy. They are perfectly content if they can dupe the ordinary people into fighting each other uselessly across the liberal/conservative divide for the next 50 generations while they rob them all blind.
