Bob, so all the poor people who bid between $25 and $80 can go pound salt? Why not set the bidding price at $80 (your lowest) and see if it goes higher?

Maybe it's one of those marketing techniques we were discussing on another thread. If you see a lot of bids on an item you're more likely to go in and take a look. Maybe your right. Maybe I will use reserve.

You set it a real low price to attract bidders, set a secret reserve so they will bid hoping to reach the reserve, leaving lots of bids to bring in other bidders. Cool! You might have something here. Maybe I'll give it a try.
