Thread Name: Lyr Req: Avondale (Behan)
Subject: Tune Add: AVONDALE
As originally requested, The chords for the song are embedded in the ABC notation below enclosed in " ".

X:1
T:Avondale
M:3/4
L:1/8
Q:1/4=100
K:D
A,2 |"D"D D D3 F |A F D3 F |
w: Oh, have you been to A-von-dale, or
"Em"G F E3 D |"A"C E A,3 A, |
w: lin-ger'd in her love-ly vale, Where
"D"D "G"F G2 F G |"D"A F D3 A |
w: tall trees whis-per all low the tale Of
"Em"G E "A"C3 A, |("G"B, D) "D"D4 |
w: A-von-dale's proud ea-_ gle?

I extracted the ABC notation direct from the downloadable version of Digital Tradition, but changed the 4th last chord from E to Em after a two second look at the G natural and E notes that need to match the chord.
