I copied the words down once the way Eva Cassidy sang it (the whole song and lyrics are available here, but don't trust the lyrics posted on that site; listen to the song instead). While it was indeed breathtaking vocally, at least in that performance she changed a few words and left out a verse. The resulting lyric didn't hang together quite as well as Sting's original.
