I put a small lighted wreath on the front of the house, put up some red bows (including one under the lionhead door knocker, so it looks like a bright red bow tie), and put a couple candles in the windows. Tomorrow I will run lighted garland around the door and put up the Christmas trees (we use two) and a dozen more candles in the windows. Maybe I'll put on of the trees on the porch, where we can see it from the dining room and anyone night-skiing on on the golf course could see it too.

Or maybe I'll put it downstairs.

Hmmmmmmmmmmmm....

I like having the lights at the darkest time of the year. They'll all come down or be turned off on January 6.
