Sonnet 05/06/03                         DCCCXXVIII

I see in eyes what I desire: A heart
That shares concern, and feelings place in view.
How can I persuade her how much a part
Of dreams she has become, and dreams are true?
I see in smile all that I seek: Sweet lips
Express desire and thought, soft to the touch
But firm in heart's resolve. Yet, dream still sips
From hopes that passions are not far too much.
I see in muse true beauty: Heart and soul
That fulfills yearnings for a source of light.
It is her happiness that becomes goal
I seek to find: All dreams of muse are bright.
She is the vision of my heart's desire:
A woman full of life, with soul of fire.
