Goodness, I'd forgotten all about this song ! From a google search, a recording of it by Billy Cotton & Band is available on a compilation CD "The Unforgettable Collection" issued February 2002 and available through Amazon.

Seeing Shambles' and Bert's comments about Billy Cotton earlier on this thread, I agree: his radio and TV shows were very much a part of my earliest music memories as a kid in the 50s.

You might like to know that Billy Cotton's trumpeter, Alf Reece, is very much alive, well and still going out teaching trumpet, living in the block of retirement flats where my mum lives.
