Dear Mudcatters. On behalf of Malinky I would like to inform you that, contrary to rumours, Malinky is very much NOT splitting up. All 5 of us have prowled this site in the past, and we know that you represent a broad section of the folk communities in Britain, Ireland, America, Australia etc. As such we feel it well worth while explaining the situation, as you will undoubtedly be able to spread the word. Karine and Leo are leaving in February 2005, and the new line up will be Jon Bews, Steve Byrne, and me with two new members; Fiona Hunter (vocals, cello) and Ewan MacPherson (mandolin, guitar, bouzouki, banjo, vocals).
