It's just as funny the other way 'round. I was working as a waitress outside Woodstock waaaay back when and some Englanders ;-) were here working at IBM and had come to my hotel for breakfast.

They asked if I worked everyday and I told them "No, I'm getting off tomorrow".

Evidently that means something entirely different in England then here. They proceeded to laugh themselves silly as I stood there looking absolutely purplexed. Hmmm....
