Thank you Santa it will sit, [till christmas when I'll open it]
Beneath the tree, beside the log, and get sniffed daily by the dog
She must be watched her favourite caper is to steal and consume paper
And when that christmas day arrives, if canine curiosity it survives
Sitting up in bed with fresh Bucks Fizz, we'll open parcels and gee whiz.
We'll eat we'll drink, we'll all get fatter, and toast our Secret Santa Mudcatter.
