There was a tapping on the door and a murmering of voices outside. The door opened to reveal a choir of 9 penguins just about to launch into "Why TV's wash their frocks by night" when they were distracted by a passing squid. Thinking it was their supper being provided by the tavern they pounced on it. The squid fought back and managed to escape in a cloud of ink. Some of the more literate penguins took advantage of this to write out their Christmas cards.
