This song was written and recorded by Harold Breau under his stage name of "Hal Lone Pine". Hal came from the USA but he played a lot around Maritime Canada in the 60's and 70's. I met him in Summerside in 1970. I bought an Lp from him that I still have with this song on it.
He can be heard singing this one and several others on "The Record Lady".
