Martin, there is no way anyone can blame the 60's for aids but it can be blamed for the so called "Permissive Society" that made for the rapid spread of aids.
HOWEVER> I most remember the 60's for "The Beatles".."The Rolling Stones" and the advent of many other Rock/Pop groups. The 60's heralded a revolution in many things..particularly types of music and the arrival of the larger concerts that are now part of the everyday scene.
The whole period was definitely not C... as suggested...It was a time of re-learning...a sort of renaissance of musical learning and Social learning which may not have been altogether good but was a great experience to live through.
I'm glad I was there!! But with the sentiments of Strollin' Johnnie....it is all a long time in the past...we have moved on and on and on and now we are in the 2000's..So lets LIVE them through...as long as we are able.
