I thought they did laminate flooring!?!??!

Well, I do feel a fool (well, actually he's in the front room at the mo'). There I was thinking I was supposed to be keeping schtoom about the whole thing and here's this great hairy thread!!!!!!!

Anyone needing crash facilities, we have a large front room and a spare bed or two. Be warned, we have cats..........
