I believe he makes his own guitars and plays them in his own distinctive style. Which unlike so many guitar players has stood the test of time. His syncopated tremelo effect still sends shivers down the spine. Ain't nobody bettered his originals of "You Pretty Thing" and "Roadrunner" though the likes of the Stones etc. have tried!
