I might add that once on the way back while we hit a bump in a small southern town somewhere in coastal Virginia, and didn't notice that it had jarred the trunk open, exposing a case of mason jars filled with white lightning! Fortunately, when we pulled into a gas station to fuel up we noticed what had happened, before anyone else noticed it.

I think the white lightning tested well above 100 proof. Tasted vile straight up, but was really nice with cider going down, and bloody awful coming back up!
