As noted above, Lotte Lenya definitely performed in a New York production of Threepenny Opera, at least if the Assocated Press obituary of her costar Jerry Orbach is to be believed.

By the way, Kevin Spacey's performance of "Mack" as Bobby Darin in the new film "Beyond the Sea" is pretty spectacular. (The band does a great job as well.) I was fortunate enough to see a preview -- free of charge! -- two full weeks before the local opening.
