I'm glad I got to see the Chieftains in Berkeley when I lived there. I saw them fifteen years ago, and it was $40 even then.

Ah, I got an evening pass out of prison, and went to a science-fiction event. We watched the pilot for "Battlestar Galactica". The bus trip to the cafe was adventurous (took me an hour and a half). The cafe had satellite programming and we watched it on the "Sci-fi" channel.    'twasn't my cup of tea, but being with friends was nice. :) I'd been in the house too long. :D
