LH's acute, accurate analysis aside, it pisses me off that people crap on oldies by comparison to the slick stuff we're seeing these days, which will, in time, become crap in comparison to future productions. Ron's mention of Star Wars is the same old same old, and I assume that's what you were alluding to, Ron. It's like taking one of Bill's songs "out of context" and holding it up to srutiny as an example of the body(s) of work. Many have crapped on Bill here in this forum for particular songs but have not listened these songs in concert with the entire work(s).
