Star Wars? That was different...not a thinking man's show, but just a good old adventure story with a little bit of New Age mysticism thrown in (the Force, and all that). Just sheer fun was Star Wars. Socially speaking, it was rather a throwback to medieval myths of knighthood and chivalry. It had some memorable characters in the first 3 movies. After that, forget it.

Those old radio shows were great, Ron, but I missed most of them, I'm afraid.
