Thread Name: BS: I was a witness in D.C. ...were you?
Subject: BS: I was a witness in D.C. ...were you?
I was a witness in D.C. during the second Coronation of the Furer, King George the second. I stood on the corner of 15th Street and Pennsylvania Avenue with many friends from Maine and elsewhere. We all turned our backs on the "Fasciest Dick...tater." I saw many Republicans dressed in their uniform, full length black wool coats, red scarfs or ties, Presidential Seal pins, and black stetson hats. The Republican women wore full length Black real fur coats. Union Station was so surreal with this clash of republican dress and eclectic protester dress that it was plain to any journalist with eyes that this country is so divided. Did anyone else here at Mudcat feel the same? I saw police brutality, I saw police from California illdressed for the cold who were glad to talk with us.

P.S. I know I said in a previous thread that I would be at 4th Street and Pensylvania Avenue with the "A.N.S.W.E.R." croud, but plans were changed on the 12 hour bus trip down from Maine. I ended up with the "Turn Your Back On Bush" croud. Oh well, Glad I did.
