I am reluctant to write to this thread, but feel I must. I have known Kate for many years: she is charming, and her family are friendly and supportive. She has been part of the folk scene since infancy, and has played with the family Ceilidh band since she could hold a fiddle. She's from Yorkshire, is proud of it , and refuses to adopt a false accent on stage. Her publicity machine is her family who produce and promote her. For some reason there is a witch hunt against Kate. If you don't like her performances, so be it, but recognise what she is.

I know Bill Jones too - a charming talented and hard working artist.
