Well Fort, after I started thinking about it..make that the top 25! We live in the greatest instrument building era of all time. Bar none! The quality of some of these instruments is mind-boggling. The luthiers themselves have a pecking order, that appears to be based on at least some factors that we mortals are not privy to. From a price standpoint it would appear that Laskin, Wechter, Manzer, Cumpiano and Dunn are all shipping mid-range hand built guitars in the 6-8 thousand range. HoooBoy!!
