Is this from the perspective of the vocalist or the listener?

Cos I just want to hear 'Congratulations, you've won £5million on the lottery'. Mind you, I'd like to hear that any day!

I don't do the vocalist bit.... load of tosh and nonsense dreamed up by people who want to sell chocolate, cards and roses at vastly inflated prices. If someone loves me, they should show it any day of the year, not just on one day when it's expected. The people I love hopefully know it every day of the year because I either tell them or I show them in other ways.

And no, it's not just the defiant cry of one who has never recieved a valentine, I've had plenty... I've only ever sent one and that was when I was 11.
