One of the few tunes I can flat pick, sort of, is the Steel Guitar Rag. When I learned it, I added rock rhythms and was promptly told that a steel guitar player could never play it that was. I've since toned it down and now, when jamming with my buddies (including a great pedal steel player), we do a credible job. As far as Scott Joplin goes, I sit and listen to more impossible dreams.Bob
