It is unfortunate, but I have closed Market Rasen Folk Club.

I will not go into the reasons publicly, but suffice to say that it is the normal types of wranglings that befall a lot of Folk Clubs. I have been negotiating with Committee over the last couple of weeks, but agreement could not be reached.

I am very sorry about this and I will be making contact with all the artists over the coming week to explain the situation.

Please don't make this thread a witchhunt thread as it is meant to inform everybody about the situation, not debate it.

Many thanks to all artists who have supported me and all the audience who have come along week by week to listen to excellent music. Aren't Folkies the best in the world! I think so.
