Teresa, I highly recommend it. It's one of the most versatile instruments there is. You can play anything on an accordion. (My favorite thing to play on it is Finnish dance music.)

Rapaire, the flaw in that experiment is this: the larval stage of the accordion is the harmonica, not the button box. The button box is a sub-species of accordion.
