I saw him in May of 1973 at the Earl of Old Town in Chicago. He did a great show in my opinion. I was a minor at the time and talked a high school English teacher in to taking me in. The show was a 4:00 pm afternoon matinee. He opened with "The Bells" and did a show of his best known songs (I Ain't Marching Anymore, Outside of a small Circle of Friends, Changes, Flower Lady and more). He ended his set with "The Highwayman."
