I followed that link (thanks MudGuard) and got a big list of downloads for FF on three platforms x many languages. Not all language versions have been upgraded to 1.0.1, but no doubt they'll all catch up soon.

Also if you go to www.mozilla.org/firefox and click the "Free Download" link at top RH corner you'll get the latest version for your lanuguage and platform. (check it says 1.0.1)

It retains all the settings from before - I don't know if Thunderbird does the same but I'd expect it to, and thought it also imported all the settings and mail folders when installed over Outlook/OE just as FF imports all your IE settings.

Oh - just looked - my Googlebar has gone - maybe that was a result of choosing to install over the old one instead of a new directory. I'll soon have that back though...
