Poor Rosie sits a weeping,
Whilst the artists begin to play
At Walesby Village Hall
This coming Mothering Sunday

She will sit and eat her dinner
With her Mom and Dad from York
Lots of sprouts, carrots and peas
And don't forget the pork

Whilst we sit there all cosy
We raise a glass to our mouth
To this lovely lass called Rosie
