Meanwhile, my brother-in-law who the Doctors were ready to take off life support three years ago is being weaned off the support, and goes for stretches as long as 8 hours without it. He's in good spirits, and did not to have a tube put in his throat, so he can talk. No,w he's been transferred to a facility that specializes in rehab, and they're hopeful that he will be able to come home again.
