I figure in a machine this new, if the usual troubleshooting things don't work, they can start from scratch with a new player, and let the techie be sure to install the drivers and test it him/herself. There are a lot of computer things I'm interested and willing to do, but to FIX A NEW COMPUTER, I don't think so. In theory and praxis, they're supposed to work when you take them out of the box (!).

Now if someone could tell me how to get this blankety-blank MS Money to quit with the British English. It's just too wierd to be looking at Favourites and cheques. I grew up next to the Canadian border, the terms are not unfamiliar. But it appears they sent the wrong disk (another coaster, John?) or the default setting is wrong and I can't for the life of me find a button to toggle to switch to American English.
