I first heard the song on 'The Heart is True' by Peta Webb, recorded on vinyl in 1986 - not re-issued as far as I know. She sings the version that Malcolm has posted earlier, rather than the one to be found in Ord.
It is a superb version - if you can get it. One of my all-time favourite singers.
