It seems like just about any durable container gets used for craft stuff around here. I have two packrat children, descended from packrat parents. "Don't throw that away--we might be able to use it for something!" (I am the child of children of the Depression--it seems to take a while to shake those habits). But as that grandchild of the Depression, I also see a great deal of waste in all of the containers we use only once today. Do like Bobert says--throw it into the recyle bin. Maybe that CD container will come back spun into yarn for a sweater or bonded into a board for a plastic piece of lumber of a park bench.
