Just heard a trailer for BBC Radio 4 "Start the Week" at 9am this morning ( in 25 minutes time!). Shirley Collins will be on.
She'll be talking about her song collecting with Alan Lomax as recounted in her book: "America over the water" (one of the books I got for Xmas).
I'll be out on my morning walk (weight now steady at 11 stone!) but I (and you) can listen to it for a up to a week via BBC Online I expect.
