Has no one thought to have a one to one with the light bulb, perhaps offer it counselling in the (light) of its obvious failure to complete the task it was expected to undertake. It should be asked why it failed, what could have been done by management to prevent the failure and did it have any positive contribution to make for future light bulbs' longevity. Why did it feel the need for change?
