If you like Scottish music, try 'The Complete Songs of Robert Burns' by Linn Records. This is a series of CD's which has every song that Burns had a hand in. This is the first CD of the series and the others only get better. I think they've just released Vol.7. There is no operatic singing, just good down to earth Scottish folk music with simple Scottish instruments.
